Finally finished the suspension upgrade to my Exa. Koni sport struts, king springs & a lovely whiteline 27mm rear swaybar.
What can i say, the car is handling absolutely great. It is FWD (for those who aren't familiar with the exa), and it takes a lot of pushing to get the car to understeer (and i have dodgy old tyres on the front at the moment). There is basically no bodyroll at all, even when cornering at 70km/h - 120km/h. Very impressed.
I wasn't able to get the whiteline springs I wanted at the time due to stock level, but will definately be looking into these in a couple of months. If I didn't need the car to pass blue slip in a hurry, I would've waited.
In case anyone is wondering, i set the front koni's with 3/4's of a turn and the rear with 1/3. The ride is very firm, but generally comfortable. Find some nice corners & you easily forget about the compromise in comfort.
