hi Wojtek,
I have 2005 wrx fitted with Whiteline parts;

front 22m bar
rear 24 adjust rear set on med.
links and mounts fitted
sti HD springs

Curerent allighment setings are
Front;
toe in about 1.5 deg total
camber -2.5

Rear
toe in about 1.5 deg total
camber -1.5

I track my car in super sprints, the tyres I use are RE55 semi slicks.
My question is what the toe in/out should be? On your site the P25
has tow in at the rear, where for WRX you recomend toe out.
I am bit mixed up about this issue, could you please explain.

Hi,
.... noting this is with relevance to a Subaru Impreza....
We would almost always start with nuetral front toe setting (zero), which is good for almost all conditions and cases. If someone really wants a stable (and dull) front end, a slight amount of toe-in would be used.

Rear toe settings predominantly depend on front to rear torque split. As WRX is 505/50 at best, some toe-out promotes turn-in and reduced understeer. However, for models with rear biased torque split such as an STi and P-25, rear toe-out is undesirable as it would induce too much oversteer on such drive configuration.

Hope that this helps.

Regards,
Wojtek.

Thanks Wojtek,
It is now clear to me.
I still would like to know if with my current setup (swaybars) I could
improve the handling (cornering) by changing rear to toe-out?
Or maybe set the rear bar to the hard setting?
