Hello all,
im interested in buying a whiteline rear sway bar for my datsun 1600 (510). im wondering which part number is needed, and if its a direct bolt in install, or if theres modifications that need to be made.
thank you much

Whiteline list a few rear swaybars for the 1600 in their PDF catalogue you can find online. Part number is BDR1 and BDR1Z (adjustable). I'd assume it should bolt right in place, but no doubt the moderators can give you more solid information on this than I can provide. :)

G'day Entix,
The info supplied by Lonx seems fairly spot on and the reference offered will take you to the catalogue.
The bars availabe for the Datsun 1600 chassis are as follows:
Fixed rate bars;
Front: BDF1 replacement 22mm fixed rate bar and Rear: BDR1 a kit 18mm fixed rate bar
Front: BDF1Z A Replacement kit Blade adjustable 22mm bar and Rear: BDR1Z a kit Blade adjustable 16mm bar.
We also have a a rear bar designed for off road rally use BDR1R
Cheers

Sorry to drag up an old post....
Peter, you mention the 'rally' bar in your message. How does this differ from the others?

I have just purchased a rear swaybar that goes above the rear cross memeber, as described above.
Are there any fitting instructions available ?
Thanks Jeff.
