oh so slow

okay, suspension setup is as follows- koni yellow shocks, whiteline "control" springs, 22mm adjustable rear sway bar, stock 24mm front sway bar, castor kit, and original factory bushings.

my question is, what, if anything, comes next?

i'm reasonably happy (though not ecstatic) with the car as it is, but i feel it could do with a firmer setup. the car does seem to be a little on the vague side initially. it's hard to accurately describe what i'm feeling, but to me it feels as if it's a tad short on front end grip, and there seems to be a small amount of lag between steering inputs and the car's response.

would a firmer setup aid me at all?
are the koni shocks capable of handling stiffer springs, and would this be a worthwhile path?
is there an option of putting a thicker -say, 27mm- front swaybar in?

nolethane bushings?
swap to coil overs perhaps?
i'm just trying to work out what my options -if there are any- are.

this is for a 1994 integra vti-r (dc2) by the way.

thanks!

Hi,
At the moment, I would like to think that you can get some gains by tuning the suspension that you have, plus some small additions. Without knowing all your settings and specs including wheel alignment, it is difficult to give you absolutes, but you may want to stiffen your shocks, and increase front negative camber (you will need a camber kit). Although Hondas are known to have relatively dull and unresponsive steering, altering wheel alignement and stiffening the suspnsion will improve this. You can do this using strut and chassis braces, bigger sway bars (we can do 27mm custom sway bar) or stiffer springs and shocks.
