I wish to upgrade the brakes on my car AU-2 Fairlane Ghia 6 cylinder. I am told it may be possible to use BA falcon brakes rotors and calipers. So if this is possible is it an easy swap and is there an increase in braking ability for the car.

Hi there Colin,
Sorry to take so long to come back to you but its that time of the year unforutnately.
To your question, and its not something we can officially answer :D but.... talking to some guys in the field, they reckon it wouldn't be much trouble really and can be done. There would'nt be any brackets needed and all the brakes will fit however, you might need a small spacer needed on the rear to space the caliper on the mount. You also might need some new hoses for the different calipers and disc diameters.
Would suggest you consult a reputable dealer or workshop unless you'd like to do yourself.
Hope that helps.
