Disc Rotor Orientation of slotted Rotors, what's the right way?

Most slotted rotors inclduing DBA in sre directional and should be fitted to the vehicle as follows:

All DBA slotted rotors are sold as:
SL – SLOTTED LEFT and SR – SLOTTED RIGHT.

As a general rule, we recomment to install the SL disc to the LEFT SIDE of the vehicle and the SR to the RIGHT SIDE of the vehicle as per the image below.

(However, slotted discs can be fitted with slots facing in the opposite directions without any detriment to braking performance)

If you need to check if the rotors have been fitted correctly, view the disc fitted to the right side of the vehicle, the slots should taper as per the RIGHT DISC image above. Now view the disc fitted to the left side of the vehicle, the slots should taper as per the LEFT DISC image above.

For more stuff on correctly fitting rotors, have a look at the DBA rotor fitting series at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuZHXPtyzt8&feature=channel
