I recently lowered my 93 Civic with coilovers and I noticed that the front driver's side wheel is very obviously negatively castered, while the passenger side front is centered in the wheel well. Does lowering a car effect the caster? The ride height may be uneven at each wheel.

I also recently swapped the front control arms with that of an Integra. They did not appear to be bent and I had no difficulty installing them.

I have already ordered the Whiteline caster kit. Isn't it beneficial to have more caster on one side of the car on a street car? Which side should have more caster on a LHD that is driven on the RH side of the road (USA)?

Thanks

G'day there Shaun,

No lowering your car shouldn't have any significant effect on the caster, but the caster shoulnt be different enough side to side to be actually noticable by eye.

I am hoping that the next step after fitting coilovers to your car is going to be a wheel alignment, so you'll find out a lot more about what is wrong when some proper measurements are taken. A good wheel aligner will be able to do a much better diagnosis of the problem than I can here.

Hope this helps a bit,
