Hi Guys, I have just put a new set of tyres on my R33 GTS-t and noticed my left front caster/radius rod(i think thats what is called anyway  ) bush is leaking and the right one is cracked also so they need replacing, so if those bushes are stuffed others cant be real good either.
Should I replace others aswell? If so, which ones?
My thoughts where, front caster rod bushes(as needed), front wishbone links, rear links and main cradle bushes( this is just from what I have read and seen :D )
I have Apexi N1 Suspension with no camber adj tops, so with the car being lowered would it be running too much negative camber?
Would I be a good idea to upgrade swaybays aswell?
Any help would be great guys, Thanks

G?day,
I will address each of your points below:
Hi Guys, I have just put a new set of tyres on my R33 GTS-t and noticed my left front caster/radius rod(i think thats what is called anyway ) bush is leaking and the right one is cracked also so they need replacing, so if those bushes are stuffed others cant be real good either.
(PA). It is not uncommon for the front radius rod bushes to fail. There are potentially four fixes for this problem
1. OEM replacements . As you have already seen the OEM units are rather large sloppy items that provide excessive movement in the front end. They are nice and quite but don?t do a lot for holding a precise wheel alignment.
2. Adjustable Rose Jointed Arms. These are expensive and unless you get them with the rose joints (metal ball joints) you will still be up for the cost of replacement bushes. These items can generate a lot of noise and vibration from the front suspension as there is no noise or vibration insulation provided. They are probably not the best choice for a street car.
3. We have a standard urethane replacement bush which provides extreme loading with minimal distortion under lateral loading and high brake forces, or
4. A replacement front caster adjusting bush kit. This item provides an increase of up to 1.5 deg of positive caster to the front suspension and are considered ?good things? and would be my choice. The Part # for the R33 GTS-t is KCA331.
Should I replace others as well? If so, which ones?
My thoughts where, front caster rod bushes(as needed), front wishbone links, rear links and main cradle bushes( this is just from what I have read and seen )
(PA). Whiteline have a comprehensive range of replacement bushes available for your car. In order of priority, I would suggest that you consider the follow bushes first:
Front caster bush kit. We have dealt with this bush above KCA331.
Front upper control arm outer bush kit. This is available as a camber adjusting kit KCA348.
Rear sub frame align and lock kit (cradle bush lock kit) KCA349
Rear upper control arm camber adjusting bush kit KCA347 or standard bushes SPF1638K
If you have problems with any other bushes please get back to us for the Part #?s.
I have Apexi N1 Suspension with no camber adj tops, so with the car being lowered would it be running too much negative camber?
(PA). The front camber adjusting bush kit KCA348 (see above) will resolve this issue for you as will the rear camber kit KCA347.
Would I be a good idea to upgrade swaybays as well?
(PA). We suggest that the best ?bang for your buck? improvement you can make to your chassis to fit Blade adjustable front and rear swaybars. Springs do not control body roll ? that is the function of a swaybar. I suggest that the coilovers you have may be running excessively high spring rates and probably provide a fairly rough ride on Australian roads. Once you have fitted the swaybars you may then have the option of improving both ride and handling by fitting softer springs
Any help would be great guys, Thanks
(PA). No Problem ? A link to the Fact Sheet and an article on your chassis can be found here:
